2022 Vintage Notes for Regions in France
According to the recent estimates, wine production in 2022 will amount to 44.6 million hectoliters. This is a level comparable to the 2017-2021 average. In some regions, drought has shortened the harvest. In Champagne, Bourgogne, Jura, and Mediterranean vineyards, harvest exceeded the five-year average.
