The vineyard is owned by two brothers: Eric and Joël. Their vineyards cover 22 ha (8,5 ha of Saint Joseph , 9.5 ha of Cornas, 2 ha de St peray and 2 ha of Vin de Pays).They took over the family estate and started bottling our wine in 1991.They work hard to ensure their harvests will be fully expressive of the terroir. They love wines that have personality but are still fine and elegant.
Vineyard
The vineyard extends over south-facing granite slopes at an altitude of 450 meters.
Winemaking
Mechanical harvest . Pressing whole grapes .Settling after 24-hours maceration at low temperatures. Vinification at 61 ° F with 30% new barrels.Lees stirring barrel and vat twice week for 3 months./nAgeing 7 months.
Tasting notes
Light gold color. Floral bouquet with spicy notes . A dominant fruit flavor (apricot and exotic fruit).The attack is fresh and fleshy. Round and silky on the palate. A long spicy and fruity finish.
Food pairing
It will be perfect as an aperitif, "foie gras", salad of paned ravioles and goat's cheese.
