history
This estate has belonged to the Coperet family for  5 generations, located on the hillside of Fleurie in the Beaujolais region. The vinification and aging are traditional in order to preserve the typicity of the terroir and the aromas of the Gamay grape (white pepper, nutmeg, juicy red berries).
Vineyard
The plots to elaborate this wine are located between the Vauxrenard commune and Emeringes at 5 km of Fleurie. These vines come from the arrière grand-Bruno’s father. Granitic soil at Vauxrenard and sandy-clay at Emeringes. Vines : 30 to 90 years old - 2.2 ha
Winemaking
With full bunches of grapes, 6 days of maceration at 80,6°F, end of alcoholic fermentation at 64°F, malolactic fermentation achieved./nMatured in tanks.
Tasting notes
Ruby red color, fine nose and very aromatic. In mouth, black fruits (currant, blackcurrant, strawberry), spicy and round.
Food pairing
Starters, barbecues, white meats and cheeses.
Aging potential
1 to 3 years.
