The domaine Meix Poron is located in Burgundy near Beaune , the capital of the burgundy wines . Arnoux family has managed the domaine since 4 generations . Pascal Arnoux combines traditional know-how and new technologies to protect the vineyard and offer high quality wines.

Vineyard

The village of Chorey-lès-Beaune is located just at the North of Beaune and at the level of Savigny. The domaine cultivates many plots of different ages, accounting for a total surface of more than 20 acres.The surface areas are located on an alluvial soil of marl limestone and stony funds. Vines : 20 to 25 years old

Winemaking

100% harvested by hand - Vatting time: 3/4 weeks with control of temperature and density - /nAgeing in oak barrels during 12 months then bottling.

Tasting notes

Its color is a nice dark color. Rich and intense nose marked by red fruit aromas (cherry, raspberry). Generous and ample mouth with a lingering finish. Elegant wine with balanced tannins.

Food pairing

It can be served young or mature; it will join the group of all great Burgundies. Served in large-sided glasses, it will deliver intense aromas, as the shape of the container is favorable to its development. It has to be served with delicate and light food such as roast poultry, grilled meat or game birds. Soft cheeses are also a good partner.

Aging potential

Thanks to its structure it can be consumed quite quickly. Some vintages can be preserved up to 10 years..
