Château Bentéjac is located on the slopes and plateaus of Asques. The diversity and richness of the soils associated with the microclimate allow this wines to be produced in the greatest Bordeaux traditions. The cellar master blends the cuvées respecting Bordeaux terroirs and its two main grape varieties: Merlot and Cabernet-Sauvignon.
Vineyard
Surface: 17 hectares. Clayey and sandy soil.
Winemaking
Harvesting : mechanical, with sorting table. Vinified in small concrete vats with a maximum volume of 250 hl. Long vatting period of 2-3 weeks and manual pumping over.
Tasting notes
Color: beautiful ruby colour. Nose: expressive and greedy on the nose with notes of black fruits.
Palate: supple, clear, and fruity, enhanced by spicy notes, with silky tannins and slight sweetness.
Finish: balanced and generous. This vintage will express all its qualities in a few years

Ideal for red and white meat (for instance, brochettes) and soft-ripened cheeses (Brie, Coulommiers, etc.).
