history
Jérôme and Frédérique Gueneau created the Domaine des Grandes Perrières in 1993 with a plot of 1.25 hectares. From a very small vineyard, they gradually grew to offer a different kind of wines ( flint, old vines or traditional method). It is now a little bit more than 20 ha (49 acres). In 1996, They built their winery. Then in 2001, he enlarged the cellar and built a storage and a bottling room.

Many different explanations revolve around the origin of the term "Fumé" or
"smoked": - When ripe, the Blanc Fumé or Sauvignon blanc is covered with a
light gray bloom that gives the illusion of a veil of smoke. - Or The term
"Fumé" also refers to the inimitable "flinty" aroma that is given off when flint is
rubbed, an exceptional terroir of our appellation. Terroir : Clay -limestones .

Traditional vinification with native yeast in stainless steel vats

A fresh attack with aromas of white flowers, fruits and with a finnish on mineral notes.
