history
The vineyard is located near Chinon, a small picturesque town of 9000 inhabitants, situated near the Loire River, and birthplace of Rabelais, a famous French philosopher and writer of the Renaissance. It was in 1989 that the adventure of the Vignobles du Paradis began. The following year the planting of vines continued, and the first winery has been established. The Vignobles du Paradis started with the plantation of 2 ha. Today, the estate cultivates 35 hectares of AOC Chinon red and rosé and soon white. CHINON LES LUTHINES : Grown in the heart of the Loire Valley, on the sandy soils of Chinon, this 100% Cabernet Franc is carefully harvested and vinified with no sulfites added - contains only naturally occuring sulfites - to express the pure taste of the fruit (blackcurrant and redberries aromas).
