history
Produced for several centuries at the foot of the Pyrenees, Malbec was officially recognized in 1868 by Dr GUYOT among the original grape varieties of the Limoux region. Thanks to the cool soil and the hot days, Anne de Joyeuse cultivates it with care facing the snow-capped mountains.
Vineyard
The plots, on clay-limestone soils, benefit from the Pyrenean influence.
Winemaking
After a cold pre-fermentation maceration, the musts are fermented at a controlled temperature. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.
