Situated in the north of Beaune, the vineyard of Savigny-lès-Beaune stretches out between the Hill of Corton and Beaune. Our small plot of less than 10 acres is planted in the lower slopes, bringing rich and lively wines.
Vineyard
The importance of this commune resides in the size of its surface area. This is why Savigny-lès-Beaune offers a varied geology. "Les Picotins" has gravelly soils with a scattering of oolitic ironstone.
Winemaking
100% harvested by hand - Ageing in oak barrels during 10 months then bottling.
Tasting notes
Gold colour with emerald highlights; it is a fruity and a rich white wine with a large range of aromas. Its bouquet evokes butter and brioche with notes of lemon, grapefruit and a touch of white flowers. The smoothness comes during its evolution to create a harmonious and solid wine.
Food pairing
Will be a perfect pairing with freshwater fishes or seafood, meat pies or terrines and many cheeses as goat cheese.
Around 12°C, in tulip glasses.
Aging potential
Already pleasant between 2 and 5 years.
