Maison Breban is one of the last family owned company producing artisanal sparkling wines in the South of France. The House of Breban Wines ("Vins Breban") has been producing and supplying a wide range of wines of varying styles and aromas to restaurants and retail distributors since 1952. The grand-father, Raymond, started elaborating sparkling wine in his garage in 1942. He has then decided to add a full range of wines from Provence. Since that time, two generation have been managing the company with the same passion and philosophy for quality.Today, they are famous in France and all over the world for the quality of the wines of Provence and for their premium hand crafted sparkling wines.
Vineyard
Located in Saint-Maximin-la-SainteBaume, the winery currently covers 30 hectares.
The altitude of the vineyard is between 360 and
420 meters. The soil is clay-limestone in the valleys
and in the cultivated parts, the soil is composed of
bauxite, sand and marble.
Winemaking
Cooled grapes, followed by direct
pressing, cold settling, filtration of the
reincorporated lees in must, fermentation with
control of the temperature at 15-17°C, with
selected yeasts to give aromas of citrus and white
fruit.
Tasting notes
Shiny pale pink color. Complex and elegant
nose with notes of citrus, flowers and vanilla spices.
In the mouth, a beautiful intensity and freshness.
Food pairing
To be served at a
temperature between 8 and 10°C. Bleu Rivage
rosé fits well with grilled fish or white meats. It can
also be appreciated as an aperitif.
