Vintner from father to son since over a century, Domaine René Malleron is driven by a family spirit. The domaine of 35 acres needs the full attention of 3 persons,which aim is to be fully dedicated to the vineyard. Situated at the South of Sancerre, our peaceful village, the vineyard is located at the feet of the surrounding hillsides. The estate spreches over 28.5 acres of Sauvignon Blanc ( white wines) and 6.2 acres vinified as rose and red wines. Every year is different and depends largely on the climatical conditions, but the thorough maintenance of the vineyard is the beginning of a good vintage. Domaine René Malleron practices a sustainable agriculture . The chemical sprayings are made only if it's necessary . The grass and weeds are letting grow between the row to attract beneficied insect and stave erosion.
