history
Established on the right bank of the Cher, Les Vignerons des Coteaux Romanais is a cooperative founded in 1957. It gathers about twenty members who produce fruity and elegant Loire Valley wines with Touraine appellation. It has some 200 ha of wineyards. Fancy a little stroll through the Touraine countryside? This refreshing Touraine Rosé will transport you to one of France's most charming regions.
Vineyard
The vines of Touraine are located on a terroir of gravel and sand.
Winemaking
Direct pressing, settling at low temperature then fermentation in stainless steel tanks controlled at 64°C. Cold storing before launching the alcoholic fermentation (10 days) for a wine with aromatic finesse.
Tasting notes
This Touraine Rosé presents a fruity nose of strawberries and small red fruits. Its mouth is crisp and reveals notes of English candy. Its red fruits notes will make you crave a little picnic along the Loire river. Cheers!
Food pairing
It will accompany aperitifs, platters of cold meats, raw vegetable salads (fresh vegetables and cheeses), grilled meats, white meats (chicken with lemongrass) and pasta dishes (penne with basil and pine nuts). Serve chilled with delicious cheeses and charcuterie.
