The Château haut meyreau dates back to 1802 . Over the years , the domain has evolved and expanded to over 90 hectares of vines planted in the Entre-deux-Mers region.
Vineyard
The terroir requires a careful understanding of the soil and the messages it conveys in order to achieve a wine of such quality. They partice a sustainable viticulture , rewarded with "High Environmental Value" certification. Vines : 110 ha - Average age of vines : 30 years old.
Winemaking
Mechanical Harvest -Fermentation in tanks, followed by ageing on lees.
Tasting notes
Colour : Shiny red with hint of purple. Nose : Notes of fresh red fruits like raspberries, cherry and blackcurrant. Palate : Round and soft tannins with ripe red fruits aromas. Finish : fruity, soft and refreshing.
