The Château haut meyreau dates back to 1802 . Over the years , the domain has evolved and expanded to over 90 hectares of vines planted in the Entre-deux-Mers region.
Vineyard
The terroir requires a careful understanding of the soil and the messages it conveys in order to achieve a wine of such quality. They partice a sustainable viticulture , rewarded with "High Environmental Value" certification.
Vines : 110 ha - Average age of vines : 30 years old.
Winemaking
Mechanical Harvest
Fermentation in tanks, followed by ageing on lees.
Tasting notes
Colour : pale yellow with green hints.
Nose : Expressive nose , beautiful white flowers and citrus notes .
Palate : good balance between acidity , citrusy and fruity aromas.
Finish : fruity, fresh, mineral notes on the finish.
