Tavel is a unique rosé produced by a type of vinification which makes it completely different from any other rosé and is more like that of a red wine with long maceration of 48 to 72 hours. After pressing, fermentation takes 10 to 15 days at low temperature (13-14°C). Vinification and storage in stainless steel vats before bottling.

This has a Campari-like intensity to the bitter cherry core, which is also laced with notes of red tea, red licorice and raspberry. Shows a stony underlay on the finish, keeping a racy edge throughout. A distinctive and off-beat rosé. Grenache, Cinsault, Clairette, Picpoul, Syrah, Bourboulenc and Carignan. Drink now through 2023. 6,000 cases made, 400 cases imported.
