history
Domaine Chante Cigale, established in 1874 by Hyppolite Jourdan, is a historic family-owned estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Initially named "Clos Chante Cigale," it was renamed in 1936 when Châteauneuf-du-Pape became France's first AOC. Today, under the leadership of Alexandre Favier, the estate spans over 40 hectares across 45 parcels within the appellation.
