Maison Breban is renowned as one of the last family-owned companies specializing in artisanal sparkling wines from Southern France. Established in 1952, the House of Breban Wines ("Vins Breban") has a rich history of producing a diverse range of wines, each distinguished by unique styles and aromas, and supplying them to both restaurants and retail distributors. This legacy traces back to 1942 when Raymond, the grandfather and founder, began making sparkling wine in his garage. He then expanded the offering to include a comprehensive range of Provencal wines. Over the decades, two generations have carried on the business, maintaining the same dedication to quality and passion. Today, Maison Breban is acclaimed both in France and globally for its exceptional wines from Provence and its premium, handcrafted sparkling wines.
The Domain FAZI depends on the Cooperative of Aghione, situated in the South of Corsica. The vine feeds on an argilo soil calcareous, qualified by place by argilo-muddy lands, red sands and rolled pebbles. It benefits on top of an exceptional period of sunshine and of a climate moderated by the nearness of the sea and the mountainous barrier. The company Les Vins Bréban has the exclusivity of this domain This wine is made exclusively from Vermentinu and Bianco Gentile, the emblematic grape variety of Corsican white wines. The grape variety thrives on sandy soils grown under sustainable agriculture.
The grapes are harvested at night to preserve their freshness. Skin maceration during 12 hours to extract maximum the aromas from the grapes, followed by cold settling and temperature-controlled fermentation. The wines are aged on fine lees with stirring for six months before bottling.
