Terroir Daronton - named after its founders - delivers the finest expression of Rhone Valley wines. Each cuvée is a blend of grape varieties and soils, selected for their ability to deliver the most accurate expression of its appellation.
Vineyard
Marl and gypsum from the Trias period. Sandy soils from the Miocene era.
Winemaking
Cold maceration for 6 days (50°F). Pumping-over and racking off. Fermentation at controlled temperature (77-80.6°F) for around 15 days.
Tasting notes
Bright red color. Nose of blueberry, cherry and vanilla. Large and smooth on the palate.
Food pairing
Beef stew, marinated vegetables, grilled tofu with eggplants.
