history
Created in Ancenis in 1955, the Vignerons de la Noelle are a group of producers belonging to the Alliance Group. The vineyard represents an area of 700 hectares. Mainly in A.O.C., the plots are 75% in Nantais and 25% in Anjou with a proportion of 65% for whites, 17% for reds, 15% for rosés and 3% for fine bubbles or sweet wines.
Vineyard
Its name means "the place where one extracts gold". The wines from this estate are strongly influenced by traditional production methods, and are ambassadors for their appellations. The Melon de Bourgogne vines are located in the commune of La Haye Fouassière, on steep slopes bordering the Sèvre River. Sandy soil on orthogneiss, a remarkable magmatic parent rock, produces a fruity, mineral, very expressive Muscadet.Vines : 40 years old - Yield : 40 hl/ha - 42 acres.
Winemaking
Grapes picked when fully ripe. Traditional fermentation after light must racking. Aged on the lees for 7 months with regular stirring .
Tasting notes
Pale golden color with silver highlights. Soft, mineral nose featuring ripe fruit (pear, yellow peach) aromas. Fruity and full-bodied on the palate. Elegant and beautifully mineral (flinty). Long, fresh aftertaste with soft citrus nuances.
Food pairing
Served well-chilled at 46-50°F, it is an ideal wine with seafood, raw fish (smoked salmon, gilt-head bream tartar), fish in a sauce, salads, white meats, and hard cheeses.

1 to 3 years.
