history
Jérôme and Frédérique Gueneau created the Domaine des Grandes Perrières in 1993 with a plot of 1.25 hectares. From a very small vineyard, they gradually grew to offer a different kind of wines ( flint, old vines or traditional method). It is now a little bit more than 20 ha (49 acres).  In 1996, They built their winery. Then in 2001, he enlarged the cellar and built a storage and a bottling room.
Vineyard
3.11 miles North of the village of Sury en Vaux, in the Sancerre region, 125 miles South of Paris.
Winemaking
clay with flints on ferruginous soils. Vines aged between 3 and 40 years old. Traditional vinification in stainless steel vats with 100% bleeding
Tasting notes
This rosé is typical of the Loire Valley rosés wines : very refreshing, full of flavor.
Food pairing
Excellent for barbecues or picnics, it will also pair very well Asian cuisines.
