The Dubard Family is for more than 30 years, the most famous producers of refreshing and reasonably priced wines in South-West France. The family members offer differing personalities of graduate oenologists, wine makers and viticulturists who together make up a dynamic and passionate team that has been renowned in the Bergerac wine region for decades. Being receptive to their terroir, combining common sense and long experience with ceaseless wine-making and viticulture: these are the founding principles on which the family has relied in their exceptionnel cuvées. They are also ongoing on the environmental label "HVE" (High Environmental Value).
Vineyard
The Dubard estate is located on sunny hillsides overlooking the right bank of the Dordogne, east of Bordeaux. Clayey limestone soils with grass between the rows (natural fertilizers are used). Vines: 5 to 15 years old - 41 a - Yield: 50 Hl/Ha - 3 T. per acre.
Winemaking
The destemmed grapes are cold-macerated overnight extract the color and varietal aromas. Cabernet varieties especially give a characteristic structure and fruitiness. After pressing, the press juice is blended with bled rosés (the other 50%) from fermen. Our aim at each step of the process is to bring out fruitiness and freshness. Maturing on yeast lees balances the liveliness of this rosé, giving it a round and silky texture.
Tasting notes
The Château Laulerie is a lively pink rosé with strawberry and raspberry aromas. The palate is soft with sustained flavors and a fresh, clean finish, which make this wine the perfect summer drink.
Food pairing
This clean and fruity rosé should be served chilled (10 to 53,60°F). It will complement buffet meals (cooked pork meats, summer salads, etc.), barbecues, exotic and spicy dishes.
