Winemaker since 1853, Jean Perrier & Fils offers a selection of wines from AOC , white wines, red and rosé wines. Vineyard
In the communes of Chignin, Francin and Montmélian, on slopes. Altitude 250 metres. Clay and limestone, south-east facing.
Winemaking
Hand harvesting, pneumatic pressing. Cold settling and temperature-controlled vinification at 20°, 3-week fermentation/nIn stainless steel vats
Tasting notes
Clean and full, with fruity violet and apricot flavors reminiscent of Bergeron in the northern Côtes du Rhône, from where Roussane originated. Superb balance between fullness and fruit. A clean, persistent finish.
Food pairing
Foie Gras, trout fillet or powan in a cream sauce.
Aging potential
It may be laid down for 5 years, but we recommend opening it within 2 years.
