history
Located in the heart of the village of Chorey-lès-Beaune in Côte-d'Or, the Domaine Arnoux Père et Fils carries on from generation to generation the art of the vine and the wine. A long family history, René, the grandfather, then two of his five children, Michel and Rémi, expanded the estate and developed bottling. Pascal, the grandson, joined them in 1990. Since 2008, he and his wife Caroline have been at the head of the farm. Pascal Arnoux combines traditional know-how and new technologies to protect the vineyard and offer high quality wines.Today, the Domaine strectches over 20 ha spread over the communes of Chorey-lès-Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton, Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses and Echevronne. Climates enjoying rich soils and favorable to the production of excellent wines of varied appellations: regional, villages, Premiers Crus and Grand Cru. All wines are harvested, matured and bottled on the estate.
Tasting notes
Deep red color; its nose has characteristic aromas of red fruits as Morello cherry, blackcurrant and raspberry mixed with spicy notes. Delicate and elegant wine, its palate is refined and supple giving it a feminine image.
Food pairing
Fine and scented, to be served between 59 and 61 °F in large balloon-shaped glasses with thin sides. The delicate and smooth aromas will be freed and accentuated. It can be served with light food, red or white meat, including game birds, with a cheese platter or a chocolate desert.
Aging potential
It will be harmoniously developed between 2 and 10 years.

Situated in the North of Beaune, the vineyard of Savigny-lès-Beaune stretches from the Hill of Corton to Beaune. The domaine has many plots including "Les Pimentiers" of 2.5 acres oriented south-east. The importance of this commune resides in the size of its surface area. This is why Savigny-lès-Beaune offers a varied geology. "Les Pimentiers" is composed by a red-brown limestone soil, clayey and pebbly.. Vines : 50 years old
Winemaking
100% harvested by hand - Vatting time: 3/4 weeks with control of temperature and density -Ageing in oak barrels during 12 months then bottling.

The nose on this wine is closed but has subtle hints of red cherry and iron oxide. The palate comes in with rounded, generous but fresh ripeness. This is juicy and bold, with a sumptuous yet defined body of dark red-cherry fruit.
