history
Located in the heart of the village of Chorey-lès-Beaune in Côte-d'Or, the Domaine Arnoux Père et Fils carries on from generation to generation the art of the vine and the wine. A long family history, René, the grandfather, then two of his five children, Michel and Rémi, expanded the estate and developed bottling. Pascal, the grandson, joined them in 1990. Since 2008, he and his wife Caroline have been at the head of the farm. Pascal Arnoux combines traditional know-how and new technologies to protect the vineyard and offer high quality wines.Today, the Domaine strectches over 20 ha spread over the communes of Chorey-lès-Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton, Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses and Echevronne. Tasting notes
Intense and velvety with a colorful complexion, darkens towards magenta; its nose reminds ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, cherry), evolving to animal notes after few years. Its structure, its concentration and its fruit reveal a character which is decided to convince.
Food pairing
Young or aged, served at 59-61°F. It may also be oxygenated with a carafe. Highly complex and impressively mouth-filling, its closest companions are highly-flavored meats, roast or grilled, all games (furred or feathered) or strong cheeses like the famous “Epoisse” from Burgundy.
Aging potential
It has great ageing prospect, between 8 and 10 years, more for great vintages.

Arnoux's flagship wine, this stately Pinot Noir opens with crisp tones of blackberry and boysenberry that amass ripeness and volume from nose to finish. Opulent yet ethereal in balance, the supple, richly concentrated wine is accented by hints of forest floor, graphite and sage. While tannins are integrated already, the wine should gain complexity through 2040 and hold further. CELLAR SELECTION
