Tasting notes
White golden color with strong green shades; a traditional and light white wine. Its fresh and frank fragrance reminds grape, green apple and lemon. Its liveliness and acidity are well completed by a discreet but sufficient suppleness. It leaves a pleasant aromatic persistence of great fineness.
Food pairing
It will be appreciated as an aperitif with the famous crème de cassis (kir) or other burgundy specialties like snails or jambon persillé. You may also appreciate it with fried fish, seafood or dry and salty goat cheeses..
Aging potential
Very appreciated when served cold, around 48 or 50°F.To drink young; the Aligoté is not to be forgotten in cellars.
