The story of Domaine La Barroche revolves around people, terroir and passion. The passion is for the good things in life – the love of simple, honest pleasures.
Today, Domaine La Barroche is represented by a veritable patchwork of family members, in much that way that Châteauneuf-du-Pape's 13 grape varieties reflect the appellation's complexity.
Each person has their own individual character, but the same love of the terroir. Julien and Laetitia, brother and sister, are totally committed to their terroir, and exemplify the family values handed down to them. They arrived at the family estate in the early 2000s, and their future looks very bright.
Pure is handcrafted from a single plot of 100-year-old vines and sandy soil, at the junction of "Grand Pierre", "Rayas" and "Pointu" districts Rigorous bud pruning. Furthermore, green harvesting and leaf thinning are done.

A core of steeped red and black currant fruit, wrapped in licorice, shows nice intensity and focus, backed by lighthanded apple wood and incense notes. A subtle sanguine hint curls through the finish, adding contrast to the tasty fruit, with a sneaky long finish.
