Domaine Eric & Joel Durand - Saint Joseph

history
The vineyard is owned by two brothers: Eric and Joël. Their vineyards cover 22 ha (8,5 ha of Saint Joseph , 9.5 ha of Cornas, 2 ha de St peray and 2 ha of Vin de Pays). They took over the family estate and started bottling our wine in 1991.They work hard to ensure their harvests will be fully expressive of the terroir. They love wines that have personality but are still fine and elegant.

2022
The 2022 Saint Joseph Blanc is another pure, focused, impeccably made white. Crushed citrus, sappy flowers, and some obvious minerality all define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied, with a focused mouthfeel, good acidity, and outstanding length. It's a touch inward and reserved, so give bottles another year in the cellar. It's going to keep for a solid 7-8 years.
