history
The Dubard Family is for more than 30 years, the most famous producers of refreshing and reasonably priced wines in South-West France. The family members offer differing personalities of graduate oenologists, wine makers and viticulturists who together make up a dynamic and passionate team that has been renowned in the Bergerac wine region for decades. Being receptive to their terroir, combining common sense and long experience with ceaseless wine-making and viticulture: these are the founding principles on which the family has relied in their exceptionnel cuvées. They are also ongoing on the environmental label "HVE" (High Environmental Value).
Vineyard
The hilly plateau in between Bergerac & St Emilion, of the river Dordogne, offers a mosaic of inspiring on the right bank expositions & geologic patterns. Young vines of Merlot & Malbec were selected to create LOL By Laulerie. These plots express their identity and their balance in grapes that unveil naturally their true potential.
Winemaking
The grapes were night-picked at the beginning of October in order to capture finely acidulous and delectable aromas. After a few hours prefermentation, cold maceration in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by a direct pressing. Fermentation at a low temperature (around 61°F). In vat.
Tasting notes
A pale pink color, and expres aromas of marshmallow and grenadine. The mouth disc ses on the nose loses fruity hints with notes of strawberries & apricot. Endowed of fineness, roundness & a beautiful body.

LOL will be the perfect pairing for any convivial and festive moment this Summer! To be enjoyed on its own, or with Mediterranean fish, salmon tarar, caprese salad, or marinated chicken skewers: let your creative flair decide! Serve slightly chilled (50-54 °F).
